Senior Seminar is a required component for graduation here at Ridley High School. The purpose of the course is to introduce the seniors to current issues, economic concepts, domestic policy, and foreign policy decisions made by the United States government. The knowledge of these areas will hopefully make each student a more knowledgeable voter and citizen of our community.

Do you agree with MAD or not? I don't really go either way because many countries have nuclear weapons still and it is bound to happen again at some point eventually regardless if I agree with it or not
MAD is Mutually Assured Destruction and it is when two sides have a large amount of nuclear weapons. BMD is Ballistic Missile Defense. I sort of agree because it does save the world from nuclear war but one of these times it wont work and there will be a nuclear war.
MAD is the acronym for Mutually Assured Destruction. Which in other words means the use of nuclear weapons by two opposing sides. BMD is an acronym fo Ballistic Missile Defense. I do agree with MAD because it keeps at least one side from being destroyed. However, I do not think MAD will last forever and eventually there will be a nuclear war.

I agree with MAD because there is no other way to deal with nuclear weapons. Countries have the right to retaliate with nuclear weapons if they are harmed by them. Hopefully the threat of total annihilation will prevent nuclear war.
