    What is BMD?
    Ballistic Missile Defense

Do you agree with MAD or not?
I don't really go either way because many countries have nuclear weapons still and it is bound to happen again at some point eventually regardless if I agree with it or not

  3. MAD is Mutually Assured Destruction and it is when two sides have a large amount of nuclear weapons. BMD is Ballistic Missile Defense. I sort of agree because it does save the world from nuclear war but one of these times it wont work and there will be a nuclear war.

  5. MAD is the acronym for Mutually Assured Destruction. Which in other words means the use of nuclear weapons by two opposing sides.
BMD is an acronym fo Ballistic Missile Defense. I do agree with MAD because it keeps at least one side from being destroyed. However, I do not think MAD will last forever and eventually there will be a nuclear war.

  6. MAD is Mutually Assured Destruction.

Its when two countries use nuclear weapons against each other in a way where both countries would be destroyed.

    BMD is Ballistic Missile Defense.

I agree with the doctrine and what its purpose is but I feel that with some crazy leaders out there that it is still going to happen sooner or later.

  7. MAD is the acronym for Mutually Assured Destruction. This works for the use of nuclear weapons by two different countries that are fighting or in war with one another.

BMD is the acronym for Ballistic Missile Defense. This is intended to shield an entire country from missiles coming from other countries.

As of right now I agree with MAD because as of right now there has not been a nuclear war. In my opinion I do not think this will keep peace forever and there will be a nuclear war between at least two countries.

  10. MAD stands for Mutually Assured Destruction, meaning two countries with nuclear weapons will both kill each other if used.

BMD stands for Ballistic Missile defense. It is a system that protects our country from oncoming foreign nuclear threats.

I agree with MAD because there is no other way to deal with nuclear weapons. Countries have the right to retaliate with nuclear weapons if they are harmed by them. Hopefully the threat of total annihilation will prevent nuclear war.
